More Good News: It looks like some of my classmates who did not contact me yet....are interested in our 40th Reunion. That's one of the reasons the list of unknown classmates has been reduced. I hope to have our 1st meeting on Sat Oct 25th! I would prefer to meet somewhere close to Wharton.

As of October,2003. thanks to Joe Burbridge I learned the probable current location of Jo Ann Heslin & also that of Ed Gernert.Thanks to Tina Scudder Palmer I also learned the probable whereabouts of classmate Cheryl Lillie. Thank you classmates for making the first stage of our 40th reunion(2005) a great success!

I am sorry to inform my fellow classmates and teachers of the recent passing of Alvin Hughes. Alvin died just prior to Christmas of '04. Luckily, I was able to attend his funeral on December 27th! To the best of my knowledge, Alvin was a life long Mine Hill resident. Please say a prayer for him and his family.

Current Updates
As of early September, 2003 & with the help of my brother Rob; I was able to post our Graduation Photo. Yes, it is on the large size but.....I decided to leave our Photo Page-bigger and better.

Just recently I contacted Mary Rose(by phone). Yes, she still lives in the Garden State. We shared a very enjoyable conersation.

Also, in early September 2003, I was able to locate Larry McConnell(with some help from his Mom). I wanted to thank her for her time on the phone and for her encouragement.

As you should know by now, I did reach Sister Brigid by phone & yes she is still teaching.  After speaking to her I feel even more confident that our 40th Reunion will be a great success. I recently learned that Mrs Losey(our 2nd grade teacher) passed away about a year ago. Also, to the best of my knowledge Mrs Evans(from 6th grade) has also passed away.

I apologize for not updating sooner than mid-nov 2003. But I did want to thank the 7 classmates who attented our 1st meeting on Oct 25th! It was a lot like a mini-reunion. In time I hope to personally thank all of them. Plus, I wanted to thank Larry D and Tina S.P. for offering their assistance as well.

We covered a lot of ground back in Oct, and I am very confident that our 40th Reunion will be a great success. To date, I have posted 20 votes on our "Vote" page. I hope to get a min. of 30 votes posted by the end of December. So, please email me if you have not made your vote known yet.

Again, I want to thank everyone who has already helped and/or expressed an interest in our 40th Reunion. I am happy to say that as of mid-Nov 2003, no one has said those terrible words: "Im not interested in a 40th Reunion"! With God's help I am certain that our celebration will be awesome!As of early Dec, 2003 the time and date of our next meeting is uncertain. I should know by mid Dec! I have received serveral emails regarding your suggestions....so I will let you know as soon as possible.
