2005 Updates

Our next committee meeting is scheduled for this coming Saturday, Jan 15th at the Wharton Library. Time is set for 11am-1230pm. All classmates are welcome to attend.

We did have our meeting in January, 2005. On February, 26th, 2005 the Reunion Committee had our most recent meeting. There may be a few problems that we will need to iron out but for the most part we had an excellent meeting on Sat, Feburary 26th. We met at Travelers's Diner in Dover. Present were Joe A, Eileen, Cathy PD, Jackie, Betsy, Steve(& his girlfriend Merry), and myself. At this meeting we had a great time sharing our memories as we worked on tying up our so-called  loose-ends.We learned from Jackie that a number of our classmates have already made their reservations. As of today, March 2,2005 we have apx 16  confirmed reservations(of which 10 are classmates). We decided to extend the deadline for Memory Book inclusion until April 1,2005-no fooling! So if you want yourself represented in our soon to be bestseller-you should mail your photos, and/or memories to my PO Box  821 in Wharton, NJ. Attn: Jerry Libby.  So, over all-nearly everything is falling into place and I wouldn't be the least surprized if we have a capacity crowd attend our Saturday, June 25th reunion at Rossi's. Again, I want to thank our Reunion Committee and fellow classmates for their all of their great efforts.  Our  reunion would never have been possible without everyone working together. Our next tentative meeting is set for Saturday, April 9, 2005 to be held at St. Mary's School.

As of  April 1, 2005 I am very happy to say that through classmates.com I was able to locate both Cheryle Lillie and Dorothy "Jeanne" Konyok Youkon.  Cheryle is in Florida &  Jeanne is  in New Jersey.  I also recently contacted, for the first time:Geri Bower Hayes, Jeanette Cannon Sullivan, & Diane  Prandato Hammond. That means that we have only Dan Essig   & Ed Gernert left to positively locate.

Our next Committee meeting is scheduled for Sat  April 9th at St Mary's School. If you visit our profile page you will see all of the classmates who have already sent in their profiles', and/or have made their reservations to attend our June, 2005 Reunion. The deadline to get in your Memory Book Profile is just 2 weeks away on April 1st, 2005!  On Sunday, April 3rd I was finally locate and speak to Dave Jennings. From my point of view Dave still has a great sense of humor and it sounds like he plans on attending our reunion in June!

As of mid-April, 2005 we have apx 15 classmates with a paid RSVP. The total number(with guests) is apx 28 people. Only 3 classmates  have indicated that they probably will not be able to attend. They are: Diane, Elaine, and Jeanette. As of, our last Committee meeting , you are no longer required to send in your invitation form to make your reservation. Just visit the Invitation Information page and simply mail-in your check-only  to: Jacquelyn Ross. Just be certain that you address it EXACTLY as is requested. and that you mail it EXACTLY as requested, as well. Our next, and possibly last, Committee meeting is set for Sat, May 21st, at St Mary's School!

It is now mid-May, 2005. Currently, we have 19 classmates (out of 46) who have made their voices heard-in a GREAT way. They have decided to attend our 40th Reunion this June. Our next committee meeting is still planned for Sat, May 21st at St. Mary's School. Also on the plus side, we only have  4 female classmates that have indicated that they are doubtful on joining the rest of their class June 24th-26th. We do need to let Rossi's know how many people to expect.....so please let me or Jackie D. Ross know that you want to attend.....ASAP!
